Nuerotoxins

(Also available in-home)
Botox

Botox injections block nerves from certain chemical signals that cause muscles to contract. This is to temporarily relax the facial muscles that cause wrinkles. Do not consume alcoholic beverages at least 24 hours prior to treatment and avoid anti-inflammatory/blood thinning medications for a period of 2 weeks before treatment. Don't lie down for at least 3 hours after receiving Botox. Don't go into any saunas, hot tubs, or tanning booths for at least 4 hours.

Dysport

Dysport disables the nerves around the injection site. This limits muscle movement, relaxing the area and smoothing out the skin. Do not consume alcoholic beverages at least 24 hours prior to treatment and avoid anti-inflammatory/blood thinning medications for a period of 2 weeks before treatment. Do not rub or massage the treated areas for 4 hours after your treatment. Do not do strenuous exercise for 4 hours after treatment. Also avoid facials, saunas for 4 hours after your treatment.

Xeomin

A medicine that is injected into muscles and used to temporarily improve the look of moderate to severe lines and wrinkles. Do not consume alcoholic beverages at least 24 hours prior to treatment and avoid anti-inflammatory/blood thinning medications, if possible for a period of 2 weeks before treatment. Avoid placing excessive pressure on the treated area for the first few days. When cleansing your face or applying makeup, be very gentle. Avoid exercise or strenuous activities for the remainder of the treatment day.

Jeuveau

Jeuveau, like BOTOX®, uses purified botulinum toxin to temporarily relax the small muscle groups that cause dynamic wrinkles. When these compounds are injected into muscle tissue, they block nerve signals so that the brain can no longer instruct treated muscles to move. Though they work similarly, Jeuveau and BOTOX® are made by different manufacturers and produced in different countries. BOTOX® is made by Allergan and manufactured in Ireland, whereas Jeuveau is made by Evolus and produced in South Korea. Jeuveau also uses a slightly different form of botulinum toxin than BOTOX®: BOTOX® contains onabotulinumtoxinA and Jeuveau contains prabotulinumtoxinA. According to clinical trials, both compounds share a similar safety profile and are equally effective for treating dynamic wrinkles.

Injectible Services

Lip Flip

A lip flip is performed by injecting four to six units of Botox (or similar neurotoxins) into your lip muscle, allowing it to relax, letting your top lip gently lift and “flip” upward in about a week. This creates the appearance of a more full, pillowy lip without actually adding volume with lip fillers. In recent years, this simple procedure has gained traction, especially among those who wish to have voluptuous, pouty lips but with a natural appearance. It is non-surgical and involves minimal pain.

Kybella

When a practitioner injects Kybella into your submental area (your chin) it kills fat cells, reducing the appearance of a double chin. The FDA has only approved Kybella for use in this area. You can get up to six Kybella injections, spaced at least a month apart, for maximum results. However, most people get two treatments. The treatments should be spaced about 4 to 6 weeks apart. This type of procedure is called injection lipolysis. This means that it’s a procedure that breaks down fat through an injection. People often choose Kybella because it's a non-surgical option for excess chin fat removal. It has a lower recovery time than surgical procedures and has fewer risks.

PCDC Lipolysis

PCDC Lipolysis treatment is injections that are intended to reduce and destroy unwanted fat cells. Avoid products/treatments that boost metabolism (Diet pills and Endermologie) one week prior to treatment. Discontinue Retin-A 3 days before and 3 days after treatment. Do not wash the area or take a hot shower for 8 hours after the treatment. Do not expose the treated area to intense heat e.g. sunbed, swimming, sauna, sunbathing or extreme coldness.

PDO Threads

A PDO thread lift is a minimally-invasive face lift alternative procedure that uses dissolvable sutures to rejuvenate and lift sagging skin. First, it mechanically results in instant skin lifting. Second, it contracts fat tissue to result in instant skin tightening, and third, it promotes collagen production and neovascularization to renew your skin at the cellular level. Avoid alcohol and tobacco use at least 5 days before your procedure along with anything else that may increase the risk of bleeding or bruising, such as Advil and ibuprofen, Aspirin, omega-3 fatty acids, green tea or green tea extracts. Almost immediately following treatment the skin will appear visibly lifted, firmer, and more youthful, with results improving further over next few weeks. You may experience some bruising, discoloration, or swelling at the insertion sites after the procedure. These side effects are typically mild and resolve within a few days.

Lip Filler

Juvederm

Juvéderm is one of the most commonly used fillers for adding volume and definition to lips. Most patients respond well to the treatment because of the filler’s soft consistency and the fact that it’s based on hyaluronic acid, which occurs naturally in the body. This sugar compound has a high capacity for attracting and retaining water, making it ideal for plumping up lips in a natural-looking way.

Restylane Kysse

Restylane® Kysse is solely designed to be used in the lips and lip lines. Every component of the injection aids in creating pillowy, softer lips, which is what makes Restylane® Kysse unique from the rest of the Restylane® dermal filler family. In addition pesky radial wrinkles around the lips can be erased with this new filler.

Versa

When selecting a filler for your aesthetic needs, you should consider the benefits over competing treatments. In the case of Versa, possibly the biggest benefit is the almost complete lack of post-treatment swelling. According to data from Revanesse, even when a patient experiences post-treatment swelling, it is typically 24% less severe than other products. The aesthetic benefits that Versa offers lie in its chemical composition. Tiny particles make up the filler, offering a smooth consistency that creates a very natural result. Besides its effectiveness, Versa is biocompatible and biodegradable, meaning that your body will absorb it naturally as it breaks down. This means that there are no remnants to burden your body or be a cause for health concerns. Versa contains high-quality hyaluronic acid that tends to offer longer-lasting results for the recipient. Additionally, animal lovers will be pleased to know that Versa does not contain animal products or by-products.

Facial Fillers (Juvederm, Radiesse, Sculptra , Belotero, RHA)

Fillers are gel-like substances that are injected beneath the skin to restore lost volume, smooth lines, soften creases, and enhance facial contours. Do not consume alcoholic beverages at least 24 hours prior to treatment and avoid anti-inflammatory/blood thinning medications, if possible for a period of 2 weeks before treatment. Immediately after the injections you face will be cleaned and you should not touch it for 6 hours. After this you may clean your skin with water and a gentle cleanser. Do not expose the area to intense heat (eg tanning bed or sauna). Avoid pressure on the treated areas for the first few nights (i.e. sleep on back if possible). Avoid strenuous exercise for 24 hours.

Sculptra BBL

Sculptra for Brazilian but lift, also known as BBL, is a new, noninvasive, and versatile procedure to add more shape and volume to the buttocks. A Sculptra Brazilian butt lift is a great way to enhance a patient’s natural curves using a dermal filler that stimulates collagen growth in the skin. Sculptra for Brazilian butt lift allows the patient to achieve a rounder, fuller look without surgery. Different from a regular Brazilian butt lift where fat is taken from the patient’s body and placed in the buttocks, Sculptra for BBL is a procedure that is minimally invasive, does not require anesthesia, and has a little to no downtime.

Liquid Rhinoplasty

Liquid rhinoplasty is an alternative to surgery. With a liquid procedure, your doctor injects dermal fillers under the skin of your nose. Using the precise placement of the fillers, your nurse can even out bumps, balance asymmetry, and sculpt a different shape for your nose. The results are immediately visible, and there is no recovery time. However, some people experience minor pain or bruising at the injection site. The procedure takes very little time and can be done at Viva La MedSpa.
